Best selling author James Patterson teamed up with former President Bill Clinton to write a thrilling fictional novel under Penguin Random House. The book topped The New York Times Best seller list in June of 2018 and was the top selling novel of the first half of the year.
I was tasked with designing all print advertisements leading up to the launch of the book as well as conceptualizing and animating digital advertisements for electronic advertising screens and large scale advertising on the Euston and Waterloo Motion Screens at the respective train stations.
The launch involved a mock Oval Office being built at Waterloo Station, with a Donald Trump lookalike posing for photographs with passersby. As the launch was held at a train station, we incorporated the use of departure boards and computer glitches as a theme from the book in the digital advertising campaign.
